A big congratulations to lucky Gamesviller Terriiwamoto, a Pediatric RN from Richardson, TX, who scored a DOUBLE JACKPOT yesterday in CatchUp CoverAll -- automatically transforming her $407 win into a whopping $814 windfall! Besides being a bingo maniac, this mom of two spends her time experimenting with Japanese cuisine with her hubby and thrift store shopping! Enjoy your winnings, Terriiwamoto! And if you're ever in the neighborhood, we'd love to try that sushi recipe you've been perfecting.

Best Pet: Csell85's kitty George caught on video

Topic: Best Pets

George caught playing in his "two door tunnel toy" by Csell85
Music: Ratatat - Wildcat

This week's Best Pet comes to us from Gamesviller Csell85 of Allston, MA. Meet her adorably curious little friend, George Allston Sell!

Distinguishing Personality Traits

Csell85 says, "This is a video of our amazing kitten, George Allston Sell. He's named afer his hometown and for his likeness to another 'curious' little monkey. He's a black cat, but don't be superstitious! In the sunshine he looks the color of fudge brownies. He's a cuddle loving cat who does not disappear at parties. His most distinctive trait is that he's Polydactyl- or - he has mitten feet. Cats with this trait are always getting into boxes and picking things up in their weird little way. In this video George is playing in the 'two door tunnel toy' my husband made for him by connecting two empty Coke boxes. He jumps in one end and out the other and then back in as if he's trying to figure something out. The music is Ratatat's Wildcat which he always loves to listen to."

Spam Bag: Leslie Wants The Government To Give Us $20k!

Topic: Spam Bag

From time to time we get a lot of weird requests and spam mail in the GV Members Inbox. We decided the best way to deal with all the spammers isn't to just "Send To Trash" but to share in the fun of openly mocking them with you, the GV community! Today we received information about government grants from Leslie...

______

Hello,

Take $20k as Govt Grants which never need to be refunded. Grant Funds are available for all people of USA. Grants program don't verify your credit and they dont need any kind of security deposits or co-signers. The strength of our firm is grants writing and we're dealing in grants writing services since 1999 and helped over 20,000 people claim grants from govt. Our company take fees only when our clients receive grant check from govt. That too only 10%. There's no risk to you at all. You send us our fees only when you've received the grants check. Please send your complete personal and professional details including the reason for which you're seeking govt grant.

Reply back to this email.

Regards,
Leslie

______

Hey Leslie,

$20k?!? No risk?!? We're very interested! I know we could definitely put that money to good use and spread the wealth around in all our free game shows, but before we sign on the dotted line I have a few questions.

What kind of grant would a website be eligible for? Unless it's labeled a "free cash prizes grant" I doubt we really apply. Speaking of applying, can we talk to a couple of your 20,000 satisfied clients? I'd love to hear some recommendations before we send over our personal and professional information. And why would you need my personal info anyways? Let me know your thoughts, looking forward to giving all this money away together!

Best,

- Oh! Ryan Kelley

United Breaks Guitars and Hears About It On YouTube

Topic: Weird Wire™

In the spring of 2008 Dave Carroll and his band Sons of Maxwell were traveling on United Airlines for a one week tour when then noticed their guitars being thrown around the tarmac by United Airlines baggage handlers in Chicago. Since United Airlines took no responsibility in the destruction of Dave's guitar he came up with a creative way to protest United and tell his story, by creating three songs about his complaint and sharing them on YouTube. This is the first of those songs.

Does this remind anyone else of the FreeCreditReport.com commercials?

Best Pet: Marzipan, the REAL boss of Ditzybrunette's house

Topic: Best Pets
This week's Best Pet comes to us from Gamesviller Ditzybrunette of Fitzgerald, GA. Meet the no nonsense, water bowl-squattin' Marzipan!

Distinguishing Personality Traits

Ditzybrunette says, "This is our 8-year-old Calico, Marzipan J. Kat. Marzipan is not very vocal when she wants attention, but by sitting in the water bowl she certainly expresses her opinion about it being empty. She will watch you walk around the room, never leaving the bowl and giving you dirty looks until you refill it for her. We have two rescue dogs that she does not tolerate any nonsense from. Marzipan will sit on the dining room chairs under the table and whack the dogs on the tail as they go by. These are not small dogs--one is a Golden Lab and the other is a Shepherd/Beagle mix. Seeing as how the chairs are pushed in they cannot get to her to retaliate! Marzipan loves to simply eat, sleep and train her owners."

Spam Bag: Joseph Asks Us For Assistance Finding A House

Topic: Spam Bag

From time to time we get a lot of weird requests and spam mail in the GV Members Inbox. We decided the best way to deal with all the spammers isn't to just "Send To Trash" but to share in the fun of openly mocking them with you, the GV community! Today we received a hot tip about some electronics parts from Marc...

______

Good Morning,

My name is Joseph Taylor and I am looking for a starter house with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I am a first time home buyer and I am looking for a
house priced around $50,000 to $100,000 in Murrieta, California, but will consider other locations.

Do you have any down payment assistance programs in the form of outright
grants or low interest loans? Please email me with more information.

Sincerely,
Joseph

______

Hey Joseph,

Thanks for reaching out for advice! Unfortunately, at this time, we're not offering grants or low-interest loans. Although, our recent winners will vouch that you can make some quick dough off us playing our free game shows.

Even though Gamesville HQ is quite far from Murrieta, California (2,978 miles to be exact, according to Google Maps), we're nothing if not helpful -- so here's the skinny on your intended destination (based on 5 minutes of internet searching). First, you should know that according to a 2007 estimate, the median income for a household in the city was $78,883, and the median income for a family was $90,930 (thanks Wikipedia). Also, Murrieta ranked as the 44th safest city in the nation and remains the safest city in Riverside County, so you've made a great choice!

Very best in your search!
