Spam Bag: Peter Sort Of Offers Us Money

Topic: Spam Bag

Spam Bag!From time to time we get a lot of weird requests and spam mail in the GV Members Inbox. We decided the best way to deal with all the spammers isn't to just "Send To Trash" but to share in the fun of openly mocking them with you, the GV community! Today we received an intriguing opportunity from Peter...

Greetings,

I am sorry to encroach into your privacy in this manner, I found you listed in the Trade Centre Chambers of Commerce directory here in UK, I find it pleasurable to offer you my partnership in business, I only pray at this time that your address is still valid. I want to solicit your attention to receive money on my behalf.

The purpose of my contacting you is because my status would not permit me to do this alone. When you reply this message, I will send you the full details and more information about myself and the funds. If interested, please reply through my alternate email.

Peter Wallace

______

Hi Peter,

This is SUCH a coincidence! And I don't mean to encroach into your privacy in this matter, but I just saw YOUR name in the Trade Centre Chambers of Commerce directory of Japan and was going to reach out to you! Call us up; we should do lunch some time. Blood pudding or sushi; your pick.

Thanks,

- Oh! Ryan Kelley

Spam Bag: Vicky Tells Us Quite The Tragic Tale

Topic: Spam Bag

From time to time we get a lot of weird requests and spam mail in the GV Members Inbox. We decided the best way to deal with all the spammers isn't to just "Send To Trash" but to share in the fun of openly mocking them with you, the GV community! Today we received a very lucrative offer from Mrs. Comfort...

______

My Dear,

Please let this letter not to bring confusion to you. I know that we have not met either before but hear me from the dept of your mind. It is circumstances that made to send this to you.

I will introduce myself first to you. My name is Victoria, I lost my mother a year ago. She was poisioned to death by her associate in business. She formed a company by one Mr. Brown who poisioned her only to take benefit of the multi million venture.

I got through the records of my mother account books three weeks ago I discovered that there is a huge sum of money she deposited in a bank, which is $9,800,000. All I need from you is to do all you can to help me to get this money out of the bank. I have been to the bank where this money is deposited immediately, and confirmed the account most deligently. The bank told me that my mother informed them that the money was to be remitted to her company's costumer account abroad, which her costumer will provide to them but since then they have never heard from her nor the costumer.

1. I want you to provide an account where the money will be remitted into as my mother's costumer.
2. Make arrangement for me to leave here as soon as possible
3. How much commission you will take for rendering the assistant?

Best wishes,
Victoria

______

Hello Victoria,

Thanks for the letter. While that certainly does sound like a lot of money that could be spread around all our free game shows we've got some questions of our own. First, with this type of transaction it seems odd that you'd have to reach out anonymously for help, why not hire someone within your country for assistance? Secondly, do you have proof that Mr. Brown was indeed responsible for the death? We'd love to help but this all sounds a little like a game of Clue to us. For all we know it could have been Colonel Mustard in the parlor with the candlestick. Good luck with your escape plan!

Best,

- Oh! Ryan Kelley

Mrs. Comfort Wants To Comfort Us--With MILLIONS

Comfort...

______

Good day dear,

This message might meet you in utmost surprise however,it's just my urgent need for a foreign partner that made me to contact you for this transaction. I am a banker by profession from Accra Republic of Ghana in west Africa and currently holding the post of auditing general,

I discover this deposit in our auditing course.I have the opportunity of transferring the left over funds $36.700.000.00 Million United State Dollars belonging to the deceased client who died in the charter plane which crashed on mount Kenyan in the Kenyan city of sumburu on 21st July,2003 to any foreign account.

Hence,i am inviting you for a business deal where this funds $22.700.000.00 United State Dollars can be shared between us in the ratio 60/40 if you agree to my business proposal.

Eagerly waiting for your urgent response please.

- Mrs Comfort

______

Hello Mrs Comfort,

Thanks for the note and for thinking of us regarding your lucrative situation. While I'm sure you're aware that we could put this money to good use here at Gamesville your eagerness and grammatical prowess (or lack thereof) gives us pause.

Considering how you acquired the money, in a fashion that includes a charter plane crash, we're a little cautious with how this could play out in the media. I can see the headlines now, "Gaming Site Does Dirty Deal With Shady Lady" or "Gamesville Caught In Tailspin Of Controversy". I just think this deal might just be one we take a pass on.

Best,

- Oh! Ryan Kelley

Spam Bag: Jerald Would Like To Talk Designer Watches

Topic: Spam Bag

From time to time we get a lot of weird requests and spam mail in the GV Members Inbox. We decided the best way to deal with all the spammers isn't to just "Send To Trash" but to share in the fun of openly mocking them with you, the GV community! Today we received a curious corespondence regarding designer watches from Jerald...

______

Hello,

All you need to impress your friends and people around you is to have a luxury designer watch. Don’t worry if you think that you can’t afford it, because now you can. We offer you such low prices you won’t believe your eyes. Reply back to this email for more information about how you can dress to impress.

Regards,
Jerald

______

Hey Jerald,

Thanks for the hot tip! You've certainly inspired me to look sharp for the rest of the week here at Gamesville and I may even suggest to the team that we bring back our weekly tradition of Formal Friday. However, I'm not so sure I'm sold on watches being the only way to impress. Wouldn't a Gamesville wall clock work the same way? It worked for Flavor Flav didn't it?

Spam Bag: Leslie Wants The Government To Give Us $20k!

Topic: Spam Bag

From time to time we get a lot of weird requests and spam mail in the GV Members Inbox. We decided the best way to deal with all the spammers isn't to just "Send To Trash" but to share in the fun of openly mocking them with you, the GV community! Today we received information about government grants from Leslie...

______

Hello,

Take $20k as Govt Grants which never need to be refunded. Grant Funds are available for all people of USA. Grants program don't verify your credit and they dont need any kind of security deposits or co-signers. The strength of our firm is grants writing and we're dealing in grants writing services since 1999 and helped over 20,000 people claim grants from govt. Our company take fees only when our clients receive grant check from govt. That too only 10%. There's no risk to you at all. You send us our fees only when you've received the grants check. Please send your complete personal and professional details including the reason for which you're seeking govt grant.

Reply back to this email.

Regards,
Leslie

______

Hey Leslie,

$20k?!? No risk?!? We're very interested! I know we could definitely put that money to good use and spread the wealth around in all our free game shows, but before we sign on the dotted line I have a few questions.

What kind of grant would a website be eligible for? Unless it's labeled a "free cash prizes grant" I doubt we really apply. Speaking of applying, can we talk to a couple of your 20,000 satisfied clients? I'd love to hear some recommendations before we send over our personal and professional information. And why would you need my personal info anyways? Let me know your thoughts, looking forward to giving all this money away together!

Best,

- Oh! Ryan Kelley

Spam Bag: Joseph Asks Us For Assistance Finding A House

Topic: Spam Bag

From time to time we get a lot of weird requests and spam mail in the GV Members Inbox. We decided the best way to deal with all the spammers isn't to just "Send To Trash" but to share in the fun of openly mocking them with you, the GV community! Today we received a hot tip about some electronics parts from Marc...

______

Good Morning,

My name is Joseph Taylor and I am looking for a starter house with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I am a first time home buyer and I am looking for a
house priced around $50,000 to $100,000 in Murrieta, California, but will consider other locations.

Do you have any down payment assistance programs in the form of outright
grants or low interest loans? Please email me with more information.

Sincerely,
Joseph

______

Hey Joseph,

Thanks for reaching out for advice! Unfortunately, at this time, we're not offering grants or low-interest loans. Although, our recent winners will vouch that you can make some quick dough off us playing our free game shows.

Even though Gamesville HQ is quite far from Murrieta, California (2,978 miles to be exact, according to Google Maps), we're nothing if not helpful -- so here's the skinny on your intended destination (based on 5 minutes of internet searching). First, you should know that according to a 2007 estimate, the median income for a household in the city was $78,883, and the median income for a family was $90,930 (thanks Wikipedia). Also, Murrieta ranked as the 44th safest city in the nation and remains the safest city in Riverside County, so you've made a great choice!

Very best in your search!
