Gamesville Poetry: Flowers Bring Smiles

Topic: Gamesville Poetry Corner

As we've been suffering through a giant snowstorm here in Boston today, this poem by Gamesviller kalcan4 of Chesapeake, VA (pictured below) made us happily think of springtime.  Thanks, kalcan4!

Gamesville Poetry: United

Topic: Gamesville Poetry Corner

83klim's piece is untitled, but we like to call it "Gamesville United!". The floor is yours, 83klim...

There I was a'playing on Gamesville one fine winter's day

When a Frantic Fish appeared and this is what he said:

"Everything is slowing down and Gamesville might Collapse,

Gather everyone around and we'll fix it really fast."

The Whoppers and the Wranglers were the first to volunteer:

"We'll help the cause with our words, the kind you seldom hear!"

Next came the Avatars, the Bunny with three eyes, the Penguin (we poked him) and hurried to the site.

We found the problem at Pit Stop Slots--the site was nearly down!

The chat rooms were a buzzing; angry shouts were all around.

Arriving at Pit Stop Slots, what we saw made us scared:

The cars were covered with spider webs and playing cards filled the air.

The Solitaire Spider spun webs throughout the night;

While the Miami Dice just stood there watching in awe and fright.

"We have to stop that spider!" said the Bunny with three eyes.

"If we don't, I fear the worst!" ... then he began to cry.

The Avatars grabbed their Bottle Rockets and some Magic from 21.

Everyone was ready! And soon began to run.

"Bingo!" yelled the Frantic Fish, the firing had proceeded.

The Whoppers and Wranglers yelled some words as they were needed.

The Spider went into a spin and spun himself in a web.

Full of Spite and Malice, we hoped he wasn't dead.

In a Text Twist, we twisted him out.

Down he fell, coughing, and he said in a shout:

"I'll never try racing again; my home is where I'll be.

I'm happy with my cards and Solitiare!"

Everyone rejoiced and went back to their places.

They poked the Penguin and now had their races.

Kalcan4's piece is titled, "I Love Java Games". Take it away, Kalcan4...

I play online Gamesvilles Java games hours on end

Laborious these Gamesville Java games are not,

  but they're free

One, two, three thousound GVs, I win

Victorious, I be

Endless brain thinking restores the stress

Joyful card games, checkers, math games, more

Always thinking the math games are the best

Vigor proclaims more tokens galore

Again to choose a card game

Glory be, I won more GVs

A family member thinks my Gamesville games are lame but

My Gamesville Java Games make me feel unbroken

Everyone will soon see

Satisfaction in playing Gamesville Java Games is a need

  so, please, let me be
