I was just wondering when the new cover up game will be ready it doesn't say when. Someone was saying it won't be ready until after the new year. I was hoping it would be really soon it look's like it will be fun to play I can't wait for it to be ready.

Having a problem with My Friends List. Friends show that they are playing when they are not and those playing do not show that they are. Also, Bingo Zone bonus numbers box is blank when it opens and cannot choose numbers.

Hi Gamesville,

I love the new Catchup Coverall. It was worth the difficulties we suffered on Wednesday morning and it was surely worth the wait! I especially like the flip/flop. The lucky balls are a great idea too.

The additions to 'Poke the Penguin' and the new home page are cool too -- so much easier for me to explain to my aunts how the site works.

Awaiting the next set of changes! Keep up the good work!

Was there a gv rewards change to Frantic Fish when you performed your maintenance to push the Cover All Bingo out live?

Everytime you do maintenance or make a change it seems that other games get messed up and so does access to game rooms. Don't you have a reliable test environment in which to test all your changes before you push them out live?

If you intentionally made changes to Frantic Fish as far as collecting GV rewards it would be nice that you posted that information in your blog. This game is not worth playing now because for every gold coin obtained you receive a total of 5 gv rewards and every line is worth 10 gv rewards. I received a total of 70 gv rewards for one game and 30 gv rewards for another game. That stinks and how many other games did you drop the gv rewards down on. Guess the gold membership doesn't mean much except for not having to deal with the ads.

Oh and speaking of your ads, I have my anti-virus application setup to block all spyware when on a sight. Gamesville is loaded with spyware ads which i found out by accident when a friend used my computer and they don't have a gold membership. My anti-virus application was working overtime stopping and neutralizing all the spyware ads on Gamesville. You might want to check with your advertisers about the spyware.

Dear lynn61611 -

Thanks for your feedback. No changes were made to Frantic Fish in the last release. As stated in the rules, you earn 5 GV Rewards for each gold coin, 10 GV Rewards for each bingo line formed, 50 GV Rewards for finishing in the top 5, and another 50 if you win the game. If you're experiencing something different from that, please let us know.

It sounds like you and your friend are doing the right thing, running antivirus software on your computers. But please be advised: Gamesville does not allow spyware. We do allow popup ads at times, but popup ads are not "spyware"--popup ads are a legitimate, accepted form of online advertising practiced here and on virtually every other site online.

The integrity of our advertising is very important to us and your computer safety is priority #1. If you can provide customer service with more information on what you experienced, we will certainly look into it.

Sincerely,

Hi kc45826 - There was an issue with the avatars server this morning. During that time period, no avatars were being displayed. This issue has been corrected, and everything should be back to normal. I apologize for any inconvenience.

(Instructions on how to do this are here: http://www.gamesville.com/help/java-console.htm.) Once customer service has this information, we'll be able to diagnose the issue and help fix it.

Apparently I have lost my gold membership (however when at the games still shows I am a gold member but now getting ads) and while on the home page of Gamesville, I am getting notification from my anti-virus application of spyware and that it is being neutrilized -- the notification is continual that there is spyware on this site.

Also, it would be nice if Gamesville has an automated email to let their members know that their gold membership is about to expire.

Not sure what is

going on but this is very strange because I am going back and forth between a gold membersip and a non-gold membership.

Dear lynn61611 -

Our team has been working to resolve this issue since you notified us. Rest assured, your GV gold membership has not gone anywhere.

As Chris mentioned earlier: Gamesville does not allow spyware. We do allow popup ads at times, but popup ads are not "spyware"--popup ads are a legitimate, accepted form of online advertising practiced here and on virtually every other site online. If you can provide customer service with more information on what you experienced, we will certainly look into it.

We truly appreciate your patience as we resolve these issues and thank you once again.

Will someone PLEASE fix the Sprint Ad that visits the Miami Dice and Poker Inferno game?  Every time it is displayed everyone complains that they miss turns and our computers are locking up.

Thank you!

To whom it may concern,

I am a long time player on this site and play quite frequently.  I have been attempting to play today on Word Whopper but I keep locking up every time I try to get into the game due to the Degree.com advertisement.  This happens every time that ad appears on my screen.  Is there something that you can do to keep this ad from locking my games up please?

Thank you.

to the people at gamesville.  i love playing your games, but until you rectify my request about the degrees.info rolling heads ad that completely locks me up and out of your games, i will no longer be playing on this site.  i have asked about this several times and nothing has been done.  please contact me at my e-mail address when the problem is fixed.  thank you.

In december i posted a comment about my pc being locked up while playing The games.I've done everything that was asked of me and yet 4 months later i still cannot play a simple game of frantic fish.

Do you know how frustrating it is to have your computer LOCK up meaning you cannot move the mouse icon.Hit Ctrl +alt+delete..You can't do anything but look at the frozen screen or be forced to turn of your pc in a manner that is compared to a CRASH thus loss of data.Yes as a user we all take risks when runing anything on our computers but there has to be a time that the makers of this potential damaging games etc. need to think about fixing something..i mean just for the sake of bussiness?.I can't imagine the numbers of potential patrons who have decided NOT to purchace a gold subscription on the basis that nobody is doing anything about the current ongoing problems.

Dear xadianx -

I'm very sorry you're still having trouble accessing the games! Customer service has tried to assist you on this matter; have none of their suggestions worked?

From what you're describing, your version of Java may have become corrupt and/or your browser cache might be full.

Please try empting your browser cache and seeing if that helps.

To delete the Java cache and objects using the latest version of Sun Java, 1.5.x, and Microsoft Windows...

  • Click the "Start" button, then Control Panel, then Java, then the "General" tab.
  • On the General tab, click the "Delete Files" button located in the section labeled "Temporary Internet Files".
  • Make sure that all three boxes are selected, then click "OK".
  • Close your browser.
  • Restart your computer.

This should clear up any problems you had with the game functioning. If you are still experiencing problems, try uninstalling and reinstalling Java.

For instructions on removing the old version of Java and installing a new, clean version of Java please go to: http://www.gamesville.com/help/games-help-java-settings.htm

Hopefully this helps. Please let me know!

Sincerely,

Chris Cummings

I have been having the same problem as everyone else...computer totally locking up while playing. I can't get through any more than two games of Magic 21 without having to do a hard re-boot.

I tried all what was recommended, including clearing all Java cache and browser chache. I also deleted all Java from my computer and downloaded the latest version. I have also tried it in both Internet Explorer as well as Safari browsers.

Any other suggestions? This is VERY frustrating!
